We've added 100% fruit, no sugar added, smoothies to the menu for summer.  A healthy start to the day or a refreshing afternoon snack when it's 90deg and 105% humidity outside.

Harrogate Book Station Yard Sale June 6th

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Harrogate Book Station is having a yard sale to raise funds to continue to expand the services offered. The sale will be at the Book Station from 8am until they run out of stuff to sell. Call 423.869.9777 for details or to donate items to the sale.

LMU-DCOM Duathlon (say that 5 times fast)



We are sponsoring the Duathlon on Sunday, April 26th. We'll be serving coffee, water, various fruits, and of course, donuts. Because there is no better way to prepare to burn 500 calories, than by eating 3000.


Harvey


Keep an eye out for Harvey the next couple of days. He'll be leaving Easter eggs all over LMU campus. These will contain candy and coupons redeemable at No Bucks Coffee House.

1/4lb of ground chuck, with lettuce tomato, onion and your choice of chips.

We also offer a 1/2lb version for when you really need to go medieval on some lunch.

We've also added fruit smoothies, Coke floats, both dark and white chocolate frappes and 12" pizzas to our menu. These are just the first and definitely not the last new menu items that we are incorporating from the BBCC.


Ch-ch-ch-changes...
Big changes in the works.  After many hours of boardroom negotiations, back room deals, fits, starts, stops, canniptions, Congressional bribery, tears, tarot card readings, and consultations with Junior, we are happy to announce that we have acquired the equipment and recipes from the Bear Bottom Creek coffee shop previously located in Middlesboro Mall. In the coming weeks we'll be adding items from their menu onto ours. Check back often as we'll update the website as we get up to speed with all the new items.


SAA Game Night
Just wanted to extend a huge thank you to the SAA club for holding their game night at the store last Friday. It certainly sounded  like everyone had a great time and we are definitely looking forward to the next one.



Lots of news and new stuff

We've been busy in the kitchen (ok, Katie's been busy in the kitchen teaching me how to make all this.)
We've added:
-Chocolate Pie
-Caramel Pie (put a slice on top of your head and your tongue will beat your brains out to get to it)
-Banana Bread

And finally, we've added chai to our latte flavors. Many people had asked about it, and I had never had one, so I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about. And you all were right. These are good.

And lastly I'd like to offer a belated thank you to the SAA club for holding your last meeting here. We greatly appreciate it and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Derby City Walkers
Just wanted to send a huge thank you to the Derby City Walkers for coming by this weekend. Hope you had a wonderful time and that you'll keep the Cumberland Gap area on your schedule for years to come. It was great meeting all of you and hope to see you again next year.
